At my office, D. Robin McCarty, P.C., located in Fort Worth, Texas, I provide solid, practical, straight-forward advice regarding injury, family, criminal and civil litigation matters. Much of what I have to offer my clients comes from years of previous work experience prior to my decision to attend law school.

Growing up in Texas, I worked as a young man in the oil fields of the Texas Panhandle. The work was tough and the hours were long. Needless to say, I'm no stranger to hard work. I've also had the honor to serve my country as a member of the United States Navy. While in the Navy, I was stationed aboard a ship in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. In addition to the time spent in the oil fields of Texas as well as the Navy, I served the citizens of Texas as a Texas Peace Officer. I've been a licensed Texas Peace Officer for over eighteen years.

What I bring to my law practice, besides my legal education and experience practicing law, are the common sense skills that I have acquired during my years of previous employment. Many of these skills that I provide for my clients can only be learned through life experience. It's these skills that help me in providing real-world solutions to the real-world problems facing my clients.

Upon graduation from law school, I was given the opportunity to work as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney with the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney's Office in Fort Worth, Texas. My experience prosecuting thousands of criminal cases, combined with my previous law enforcement experience provide me with a vast knowledge of criminal law. In addition, I tried dozens of cases as a criminal prosecutor.
